Frontier Development Lab (FDL) 2026 – AI Research Accelerator

Applications are now open for the Frontier Development Lab (FDL) 2026 research program. This international AI accelerator brings together researchers to work on real-world challenges across space, climate, health, and energy.

Participants will join one of several research tracks, including Heliolab, Lunarlab, Earth Systems Lab, Flightlab, and FDL Med.

About the Program

• 8-week full-time research sprint (late June to mid-August 2026)
• Followed by a publication and showcase phase
• Work in small interdisciplinary teams.
• Access to advanced compute and expert mentorship
• Projects may lead to publications and conference submissions

Who Should Apply

• PhD students, postdocs, or experienced professionals
• Profiles include:
