The 6th Algerian Geoscience and Remote Sensing Summer School (AGR3S 2026) will take place from 2026-09-12 to 2026-09-15 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, USTHB, in Algiers.

The four-day programme will explore how artificial intelligence, machine learning, and modern space technologies can support Earth observation and geospatial analysis. It will bring together students, researchers, engineers, and professionals for lectures, workshops, practical sessions, and scientific exchange across remote sensing, satellite data, GNSS, CubeSats, and related technologies.

Six Topics Across Four Days

  • New space technologies, including CubeSats, GNSS-R, and microwave radiometry
  • Remote sensing and artificial intelligence
  • IoT systems and technologies
  • Machine learning methods and applications
  • Satellite image classification and change detection
  • UAV technologies and applications

Registration Fees

The following student registration options are listed:

  • School attendance only: 5,000 DZD
  • School attendance and poster presentation: 6,000 DZD

Registration includes lectures and laboratory sessions, coffee breaks and lunches, school materials, a participation kit, and a certificate of participation.
